UPDATED Directions: Enter Gate 8 off Las Vegas Blvd:

  • ENTRY GATE: We will be using Gate 8 (directly off of Las Vegas Blvd) for site entry this year. If you’ve attended in the past, our normal entry point was Gate 4/Checkered Flag Ln. There are several other events happening at LVMS this weekend, so please be sure to use Gate 8 for entry.

Site Details

  • LVMS has adopted a site-wide no personal conveyance policy. This means that on the whole, no unlicensed two-wheeled transportation devices are allowed on their property.

We are, however, being allowed to continue to use two-wheeled personal conveyances for transport provided we follow our site speed limits and traffic patterns. This means absolutely no personal conveyances in grid or other hot areas. In addition, appropriate cycling helmets are encouraged.

Usage will be heavily monitored and violators will be addressed accordingly. Our ability to run events within our ruleset/allowances is a privilege that we’d like to maintain.

  • Camping is allowed, parking on the RV Hill above the Metro Lot
  • Parking: Please do NOT park along any fencing. That area needs to remain open for traffic.
  • HEAT ADVISORY: Las Vegas is headed towards an extreme heat watch beginning Thursday and running through the weekend. Please prepare and take care of yourselves appropriately. Please also look out for your fellow competitors throughout the weekend to make sure they are also remaining hydrated/seeking shade/etc. Here’s a PDF from the CDC about what to look for and steps to take if you think someone is suffering from a heat related illness.
  • The paddock area has been expanded from prior years. See site map below for details/layout! Note that the lower paddock area is NOT available for inter-event storage, so you would need to move “up the hill” to take advantage of that offering.

  • EV charging:
    • Motel 6 on Speedway Blvd (When exiting the site, head west at the Speedway exit and you will run right into it)
    • Sam's Club on E. Craig Rd
  • Lodging:
    • Aliante Hotel and Casino
    • Motel 6 on Speedway Blvd
    • In general, it would be best to stay west of the I-15 freeway if you are trying to stay in the general vicinity.
  • Storage between Las Vegas ProSolo's
    •  similar to what was offered last year, the storage area is the RV Hill that is up above the competition lot. Anything you store there will be inaccessible until the Friday morning of Pro #2. Reservations are not available, but there is a fair amount of room. There is no extra security and the gate on the access road to Las Vegas Boulevard is open during the day. LMS has general roaming security during regular hours of operation. If you take advantage of this storage, remember that you will not have access to anything left there until Friday morning of Pro #2, so plan accordingly!

You must register for contingencies each year through the SCCA website, prior to competing for all Silver Gold, and Platinum contingency programs. In some cases, you'll need to register with the sponsor as well, so please read each program's registration requirements carefully. Decals will be available at tech inspection during each event. Bronze programs require registering and receiving decals directly from that sponsor, please refer to the program descriptions for more information.
